g/m² or gsm is a quality of fabric measurement meaning grams per square meter. Robes and Towels usually have a g/m² from 300 to 800. A paper towel would have a g/m² of 35 to 50.

Brun de Vian-Tiran has the honor of being the oldest blanket maker in France. Their repertoire of blankets includes their coveted pure Wool blankets. Their very first mill called "Paradou," was established in 1808 by Charles Tiran and his son-in-law Pierre-Laurent Vian, on the banks of the Sourge River, in the South of France. Since 1808, seven generations have carried on the family tradition of seeking out the finest fibers in the world. The wool used for their blankets and throws come from only the finest sources.
