Ruffled Bedskirts:
For a bedskirt that is a lovely
addition to your ensemble choose one
of our white ruffled bedskirts. In varying drops,
many can be adjusted if they are
panel skirts. See the two
construction types below to help you
choose the skirt for you.
These gathered bedskirts range from
300 thread count to 1020 thread
count. Many have
embellishments such as white
embroidery or a lovely hemstitch
detail. See the details on
each skirt description.
We have two constructions in this
style:
Platform Skirt:
This means the skirt has decking
surrounded on three sides with
decorative fabric. The decking
fabric lays over the boxspring of
your bed while the decorative panels
fall over the boxspring sides.
The drop indicated on the platform
skirts is standard for the
particular vendor. We can
adjust the length if necessary but
you will have to call our store to
request special drops and possible
price adjustments.
Panel Skirt:
This means the skirt has three
panels. It is accompanied by
pins that are used to attach it to
the boxspring. The advantage
of a panel skirt is that the length
can be adjusted by simply pinning
the skirt higher or lower. The
length given on the panel skirt is
the maximum length. There is
usually an additional 3 inches that
is tucked under the boxspring.
All of the Matouk skirts can be made
as either a platform or panel skirt.
